when i tryed signing in to my bf2 acount a message apperared saying there was a error conecting a socket any one help chris

o yer i have tryed reinstalling it and it still dnt work

Have you got the latest patch. 1.4?

Mayby it has somthing to do with your firewall make sure that it lets BF2 connect to the internet

HI all I have the very same problem. It says it has a Listening problem with a socket.

Any ideas on this. I have just patched to 1.4

Ok ive reinstalled the game tried to log in without any patches no luck and tried with the 1.4 no luck.

Im hoping this is an EA server problem.

Ok guys mine is soted it is a firewall problem. When I looked I had 2 Firewalls running. Windows been one and the other been a nvidia one that came with my motherboard. Turned them both off and hay i was in. Put just my nvidia one on and im ok. So it seemes to eb a conflict between the 2.
