i keep on getting disconnected from servers saying your connection has been lost when i am still connected to the internet TS and bf2cc whats going on? is this with 1.4 or what ? so annoying

I have that too, last night I had 4 people with me on Ventrillo, internet stuff cooking and gaming. Suddenly LOST CONNECTION....
Makes me suspect that someone removed me from the server via BF2CC or something because the rest of the squad on ventrillo carries on the fight as I reload the *&^%$ Game. -

Same issue here. Before the patch, I would nuke any servers I tried to connect to. Now, I am able to connect, but either right after connecting or in game I will lose connection to the server....without nuking the server. Look at the bright side, I'm not nuking servers, although I still can't play! Anyone have any solutions...other than Punkbuster?Comment

Exact same problem here. I had the ability to kill any server in 1.3, but it seems they have now prevented the servers from being killed. Now we're left with bugged clients, so when we try to kill a server it just kicks us!Originally posted by DaveBoy368Comment

if your all running dual core processors then your problem is needing to disable one of the cores.. start the game and when you reach your ingame browser options to log in do so.. then ctl alt del.. find the bf2.exe process and right click on it and go to set affinity.. uncheck the core1 processor or one of them.. i usually uncehck cpu1.. you have to do this everytime you play though but there's a way to do it so it stays all the time.. just search google for disable core battlefield 2 or something.. this worked for me and i disconnected constatnly before this.Comment
