Can't Even Start Game After 1.4

First of all I'm not blaming this on the patch yet. I do know that I couldn't even get the game to load after I downloaded the patch. I download 1.4 from BF2S and FilePlanet. What happends is it loads then just kicks me out.

My Specs:

2 GB Ram

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.17 GHz

ATI 9550 Graphics Card Series

My game used to work fine then right before the patch it wouldn't load anymore unless I didn't use the shortcut. I have unistalled and reinstalled BF2 and BF2:SF twice now trying different providers I use to get the patch from.

if you were running the 1.4 beta patch, you will need to completely uninstall and reinstall the game..

please notice the sticky at the top of this forum, for crashes and game errors
