its not the CTD's that bother me its the random server crashes. but i havn't yet played 1.4 online properly, i got fed up with some of the otehr changes.

but i didn't crash.

if you patched over the 1.4 beta if you had it installed, you will need to uninstall and do a complete reinstall,

No CTD, but the first round I played I had, 'There is a problem with your connection' and we had a server crash. Happened straight after someone disconnected.

Next round I rejoined, played as Commander and got 72 points, but no Commander badge or Ribbon (it was only my 3rd ever round as Commander). Someone complained they had no unlocks so I guess the server was glitching.

Rest of the night was great. No more server crashes and not one CTD in sight.

I havn't seen a server crash YET (I know i will)

But i have had a CTD last night.

Another problem which I have only just remembered. During my round as commander I wanted to relocate to a safer location. However, when I tried to stand up I screwed up the keypresses and went prone/stand/prone/Shift/W a few times till I finally hit the right keys. By the time I finally stood up I was moving really slowly, like I was walking through an accident in a glue factory.

Anyone else seen this?

No crashes so far on 1.4, barely crashed on 1.3. I would occasionaly CTD when I was starting a SF game, but never on regular BF2.

Our server was up and running last night for three hours no crashes, lets hope this is the end of the patchs

Had 2 servers crash on me just now in like 2 hours of play

just had a "lost connection" so i guess the server crashes are still about............bolox

I installed the full patch, and cannot join a game. It either crashes to desktop during opening the game, or as I reach 14% during a map load in both single and multiplayer games.

Looks like I'm going to have to reinstall everything again. Shouldn't have to, but this is DICE/EA.

I had 3 server crashes within 1 hour yesterday (all Linux servers). Seems like they can't get it right.

Just now on insomnia365 sharqi out of 50 something people, around 45 got dropped all at once.

I saw this same thing happen on a different server a few hours prior too (32 players, around 28 got dropped all at once).

I saw this today aswell... Was on a 64-player Wake server, nearly full (55-60 people), suddenly about 30-40 people were disconnected. Weird stuff...
