He was complaining about poor performance and stability which is a valid issue, "you" could off helped by posting methods of resolving his stability issues - unless of course it is the patch which is flawed...oh but it couldnt possibly be that, because runs perfectly for me!!

I took the time to take screen shots of the game performance from 1.3 - 1.4 the game runs exactly the same..

same fps and no lag, I would check your system and the processes you have running...

time for a patch rollback tbh then id be able to play again

i agree with the thread maker totally and people sharing his view and sympathise with people having all these crappy and stupid problems for me i cannot play the game at all

and all the people talking about whinig should stfu, what is the point in acting like an idiot when the majority of the games players cannot even enjoy the game properly like theyre supposed to, you dont see these kind of idiotic patches and chaanges with other online games, valve add great updates to cs and other steam games yet dice cannot

i think dice should do what they always should have done, not listened to the whiners with no game skill at all and go back a few patches = problem solved

How exactly is the patch flawed, then? What part of the code is flawed? Is it in the serverside or clientside code or in both? If the patch itself would be flawed then I'm sure that it would give stability issues (that Firestartes described) to everyone playing BF2.

Some kind of survey with raw data only anserws with detailed hardware and crashing descriptions (if your BF2 keeps crashing) could probably help to find out what exactly is causing these crashes since the games CTDs seems to affect only some people. edit: yeah, what KristianSax said..

Indeed, I'm not saying for sure that there are or are not flaws within the patch, I'm just fed up off people constantly saying that they know there is nothing wrong with it because theres works.

I agree that a survey of some sort is required but, lets be honest its all too late now....I suppose that should have been sorted out with a Beta testing program...ho hum
