Punk Buster Error

I have not got this error prior to 1.4. Now everytime I get in a server, not even five minutes later I get this server error.



I had to completely reinstall the game earlier because I downloaded the Beta version of 1.4 instead of the 1.4 Patch. Not sure if thats the problem or not.
Do I need to install an update?

the latest PB update for BF2 is v1.259 A1373

i have a NEWER version of it.

it looks as if punkbuster released an update during the evening that updated the client version of BF2 to v1.276 A1373. so it looks to be a server-side problem that shouldn't be related to you.

i guess you just gotta wait til the server updates its PB files.

btw, the solution you posted updated punkbuster for the specific game listed on that page. i would just wait to have all the servers sorted out with the latest patch and PB updates.

Go to evenbalance.com and download pbsetup.exe, you pick the game you want to update, then it searches pb for newer versions then it updates them automatically. problem solved

that would solve the problem like i had listed above but it appears servers are looking for the PB client file just before the update. i would assume if it sees the newest update, it goes skitso and kicks the user.
