New glitch

Well I have discovered an interesting problem with 1.4 patch

if you are in a vehicle and you get damaged and an enemy engineer is in a vehicle near you when you get out of your vehicle and he stays in his he repairs your vehicle as long as it is empty. Now that is just great I am in a tank battle and I am an engineer and I almost destroy the tank but he bails I get to close to his tank it repairs he jumps back in it and I am dead, because mine wasn't repaired. Now that is some stupid programming there.

That is happening since BF2 was released a year ago.

Doesn't sound like something that is particularly likely to happen in a battle. Most of my armor fights happen at quite a large distance.

But a bug is a bug and there really isn't any place for them in a game that's been out for a year IMO. Then again it's BF2 and we've learned to accept it or quit playing by now.

I usually do this on purpose, like when the other guy bails I will kill him and repair the armor so my team can use it...

this is not new. It has always done this for as long as I've played.
