Patch 1.4 General questions

1. Is there any reason not to use the incremental version?
Do I have to unintall BF2 and SF, than install BF and SF again, than install 1.4? Or can I just install the new 1.4 over the already-installed BF+SF+1.3? :hmm:

2. I've modified a lot of things in the "options" function in the game, and the Yaw & Pitch factor in the controls file, and replaced the original localization files with SaladFork's. what files / folders should I backup before installing? Will the 1.3 Local' files work for 1.4?

I guess the 100MB one is the increm version and the 500MB one is the full...? :hmm:

1) ive heard some ppl complain about how incremental sux but i havent had a problem with it..so if that fails, go with full.

2)idk about localization files, but u most likely wont need to back up anything and if u uninstall u can choose not to delete ur profile information so ur controls wont get messed up, but to be on the safe side, u can back up everything in the
C:\Documents and Settings\NAME\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles folder

3) one is full and one is incremental...note the size of the file (520 = full, 150mb = incrmental)

And can I just intall the FULL 1.4 over the 1.3 in this current situation (BF2+SF+1.3 installed)? Or unintall is necessary... :hmm:

You can just drop a full version over anything and it will be done. Patched. Finished.
