Although i am excited and really want the patch, didn't EA/DICE say an anouncement on the patch would be made on the 7th? Today is the 5th, although it is a tueday which is the correct "patch release day."

Few weeks ago I would get excited reading any news regarding 1.4 (which were all fouls) now I just don't give a damn.

The Patch is on EA Downloader, but it is hidden. With the "displayable=true" trick it is downloadable.

I am still very skeptical about today...the 7th seemed like it would be the day.

But...with DICE/EA, you never can tell.

Well, Tuesday has been a favourite day for EA and patches.
But I'm believing nothing until I see an official download on EA's ftp server.

You'll likely end up with the same file that people were downloading a couple of weeks ago...

So I'd wait.

Once the patch hits the EA FTP site, I'll let everybody know.

yea i checked the dates for the upload and it appears to be the same. So its not secretly on EAD yet. But the locked stuff on FF looked interesting, although it was in the Beta section i think, but it had been updated today.

I cleared my Downloader cache and just run it...it has not placed any 1.4 files in the cache dir like before so ill need to wait for an update


Has anyone searched the servers to see how many are now using the new version number?
