Multiplay FTP is not connecting.

Thats because the file isnt there yet, they are just prepping the pages ready to put the file up when they have it.

Well surely the server will go offline before the patching.

So bascially the server will just stop?

I'm just wondering because clan I'm in, the server is running with a few people on it and just wondering if it needs to be empty to get patched or what...
