Weird ban

Me and a friend of mine are experiencing problem with some server on 1.22 ..
We join into this server and when we click on "join now" we got this error.



There's only a server where we can join without any problem..
What could we do?

Honestly, I can't make out what the reason would be.

Perhaps try contacting Punkbuster?

Are you able to play on any 1.22 servers at this point? Just wondering, considering it says its a Global GUID perm ban.

Yeah, that message means your CD Key can no longer play any more bf2 servers running punkbuster. It's a global PERMANENT BAN.

Means you were hacking or your CD key was somehow taken and hacked.

Of course .. yea .. have you read what have I said?
I can join into a server (that is ranked and in 1.3 i can join in EVERY server) ..

pity you wiped out the bannumber as (I) or any other pb member could find out what the problem is....

it really looks like you tried to mess up your pb system.. which resulted in a pb global ban.... and now you only will be able to join non pb servers and they arent that many around....

if yuor friend and you play on the same pc i would ask yur friend if he might know more of what happend... yur guid is banned .. not yur id... you might have share yur cd-key with him ?? and that could be the reason you cant join anymore.....????

No wait .. we have 2 cdkeys, we have 2 home, we have 2 computers and we have 2 different lives..

The thing that I can't understand is why this happened at the same time for me and for him.

1 week ago I've reported a server for using knife and pistol and I said to the admin that I would reported him.. Maybe he contacted evenbalance and tell them that i was playing on his server .. But Punkbuster, usually, doesn't care about this, does it?

I compiled a form at evenbalance site.. i hope in a clear explanations ..

Errata corrige: I got banned from all server .. in 1.3 aswell .. i never cheated .. maybe sometimes i sweared into the server (the 3 warnings before the kick) .. uhm ..

Only a match 1 month ago.
The server that i've reported transformed into knife and pistol when we gone to Karkand.
I told to the admin"This is against the bfroe and he said: go report your mama" and he banned me ..
I've reported the server to bfroe and 2 days ago appeared this problem ..

I did some digging myself. The point I was trying to make myself was that it seems his account has been playing on more than one Knife/Pistol server.

I got banned from 3 or 4 servers during my gameplay experience but the ban counters never increased ..

As I said, only once I joined into a Knife and Pistol's server but 1 month ago (10 days after my enrollment).
I was pretty noob ^^

This strange thing is getting me annoyed because i haven't got the global guid ban during a match but suddenly one day i woke up and i got this error.

I've contacted the even balance .. now i'm waiting for a reply ..

this sounds quite strange because I avoid these server ..
I can remember the server that switched to K&P and when i got banned the server's name changed too..

Does this tracker record the name of the server that I joined or only the ip?
Because the server could changed the name after that i joined into it..

Wait .. I got the knife badge when I joined into the K&P server ..
08.08.06 .. i got the badge 8th August ..

this is the point i was making... it seems someone has been trying to disable yur pb... I dont say it was you but i would start to look in that way as visiting K&P servers wont get you a global ban.. worse case it would whipe yur stats.. so ask yur self and maybe friends that used yur pc did something happen like that.... wishing you good luck with evenbalance as it wont be easy to get yurself from that banlist....

it is an ABSOLUTE VIOALation for servers to be running less than current patch
