you must remember this most important thing about it..... it is a pig.. it is very slow... dont push her too much.. cuz she will not go faster than granny gear.. she will work nicely if you are kind to her..... PUSH her and she will punish you in worst ways ( crashing / laggin /loosing "ranked" status on server / and my fav. , the old "I will lock up and not let you do anything but reboot.... frozen hell" Smile

make a "default settings"( and never use it ) setting folder... then make additional folders for .. general rounds/ match/ practice/ knife Smile /racing Very Happy / and anyother mods.. that way if you screw something up you can fix it quick Smile

make small changes at a time and 'Save changes to profile""apply changes to profile"often ... for gods sake be nice to her

oh and dont try banning a bunch of players all at once... crash
copy there hashes and ban them ..SsssssllooooooowLY

Well another crappy BF2CC!!! This guy must work for DICE!
It won't save the profiles unless you do a server restart, you do that and the crap thing crashes. It says your changing game modes when your not, it also says your changing the game mode to the EXACT same game mode your already currently using, when your not!

When is this thing going to be out of BETA FORM? I have no choice but to use this crap program because the server company uses it! So I sure wish this guy/guys would get their act together and put out a working release, and with a DIFFERENT login picture, this one is getting old already!

Sorry for the rant, but good god, can't anyone do anything 1/2 way right anymore with the technology we have today, it should be a walk in the park if this is your lively hood!

UPDATE: BF2CC Version 1.4.2439 Test Released Sep 5, 2006
These versions are here for people to test. Hopefully they will resolve issues with applying profiles to a running server. I have not had time to investigate issues with mods and custom maps yet; but, BF2CC now reads the map's *.desc file to learn what gpm's it supports. If the mapper/modder did not recreate this file exactly like BF2 maps then BF2CC will not see them.

Yep, another version the next day because of the exact thing I was mentioning. I guess that is pretty cool he is trying to fix it. I will not DL the test version, I will wait for the fixed one.

How much did you pay to use the application? You don't have to use it, you can always do it the old fashioned way. Personally, while it has it issues, it does everything I need it to do.

Hmmm...

2421 was released then 2439 was released

Problems range from corrupt profiles to not working with mods to not working with map packs.

For ranked servers with rebuilt profiles, if 2421 errors, then 2439 might work for you.

For unranked servers, need to test both versions to see what works best on your server.

2446 is in beta testing now
