Missile went through the freakin' tank

I was playing at Moongamers 24/7 Gulf of Oman and this guy started baseraping with a tank. So took the antitank kit and shot him but to my awe it went through it and struck the plane behind. I dont know wth happened but thats all I can tell you.

were you too close? a lot of times when a humvee is about to run over me i shoot him with an anti tank dead on and it goes through him..its frustrating.

Its called bad collision detection. Its a trade mark of the BF2 engine. It happens rarely, but it happens.

Like when I was on Kurba dam and a guy came pelting at me full speed in a DVP; I let him get real close to line it up-The AT rocket went staright through the vehicle....

i played once karkand 16 and the mecs uav trailer was invinsible but the collision was there. i have a screenie if u want to see

yeah, that seems to happen alot to me. that, or it wont fire when i tell it to, or it mis-fires and goes in a complety different direction.

lol...im guessing it was more of something like that BH video with the missile going through the door part of the heli and u just prob missed

No offence, but you must not use the AT-Kit very much, because it happens all the time when firing at almost anything headon that's moving towards you. Atleast that's been my experience with the almost 500hours playing Anti Tank.

The interesting thing is I now try to hit the sides or the wheels and it seems it never misses! Always aim lower and it works.

pretty damn old might want to check your ping next time it happens. cause if ur ping spiking the obvoius is gonna happen you are late meaning example someone sniped you and on their screen your dead and on your screen your alive and like 10 seconds later u die and then ur dead body is moving all over the place from the lag and jerkyness. thats what i think it is

I've never had this problem with a tank although I don't think I had ever hit a vehicle with an AT rocket when I had 1.3 installed.
