BF2 Newb

I am a complete newb to BF2 and would like to know if there is some kind of manual or guide to help me figure out some of the different aspects of the game.

I have been playing online for about 3 days and feel I have no clue what I am doing, such as setting up claymores, selecting different types of grenades, operating aircraft, working as a team and so on and so on.

I have played the single player missions but feel these do not really prepare me for the online experience. I have extreme trouble reading the map, not really sure what I am looking at.

Just about everything you will need can be found there.
Make sure you check out all the guides too.
Many things like "why don't my rockets kill tanks in one shot but his does?" will be explained in those guides and charts.
