Wierd bug.

I have recently installed and uninstalled Special Forces.
After that, anytime in BF2 when someone revives me, my class changes, and I got some unlocked weapons from SF, which I never unlocked actually.
Recently I got shot down when I was a medic, I got revived as a Support with a H&K MG36.
Really wierd, did I just find some new bug or it's already been experienced by others?

its not a bug, when you die, and get revived, you pick up the nearest kit....if you look, you would see your kit laying nearby, just press 'G' to pick that one up and change back to your original one

Oh, didn't know that was possible.
So basically I can pick up any kit while alive right? That would give me an opportunity to try out some weapon unlocks than.

yup, if you kill someone who was using an SF unlock, you can pick it up using the G key even if you don't own SF or have the 2nd tier unlocks; it's coded into the standard BF2 game from patch 1.2 or something.

yup....i do this alot......like sometimes i need ammo or health, and will pick up a medic or support kit, drop some bags, and switch back.....

sometimes ppl place C4 on armor then die......u can pick up their kit, take out their detonator, and finish the job.....

sometimes ppl place C4 on armor then die......u can pick up their kit, take out their detonator, and finish the job.....

Sometimes switch to a sniper kit and place claymores to earn extra kills. One time, I just killed an anti-tank soldier. Because I was also playing anti-tank, I was firing two rockets, one quickly after another, at a tank.
