Dude, I've been playing for less than a month, and have a total of 20 hours in a jet. And I will quit the game the day I get shot down in a J-10 by a F-35B. Its just not going to happen anytime soon. Not unless there's someone like MettalicaGuitrst or someone else who knows the F-35B on my tail.
Now its possible that there was an Ace pilot behind you who came up in bomb mode, and locked on like 5 feet from you and spammed his missiles. That's one of the few ways to down a J-10. But if it happens to you often, not good.
TBH i dont use the actual Split-S i do a reverse version of the split-s so that i gain altitude and if it doesnt evade them i can shoot t the ground at huge soeeds to lose them.
well its obviously not to common, he probably got a lucky missle on you, the AA/SA has been completely borked in this game from day one, they have tried to fix it in almost every patch with no luck, love the 1.2 spinners, poor trees looked like they had halos, ive gotten some insanely random hits, like when guy flies by you very close and you hit him with a missle that should have been an impossible shot, if you dont wanna get hit by missles tho, just fly the F18, and you thought the J10 was hard to hit.
Fine i have never seen you fly a jet so i cant comment on the whole useless bit. Just asking how many hours you have in a plane? If you say that you usually dodge these missles then fine, maybe the opposer shooting the missles had hax but i highly dought it since the hax would have killed you in 1. Sometimes it depends on where the missle hits you, it is actually worse to get hit in the side with a missle than in the pooper as this causes more damage to the "engine".
Here a secret to evade all missles, do a move called the Split-S (learnt it froma friend) it is almost 100% evasive and can be added to for more evasion.
You cant be good to get hit by a single missle from an F35B, the turn radius is far superior to that of the F35B that everytime the lock on sounds just turn hard ina direction and you have lost them completely. I have been flying over 30 hours, trust me on this!
The J-10 can reach a height of about 900ft until it starts to stall.
Erm, that's what I did!
Everythime I fly the J10, I dodge most of the missles. But these two times it was just weird that's why I posted on here. How can one missle do so much damage.
Lets cut the whole 'you're not good' bussiness now, cheers.

Look sorry but theres no way you are a good flyer if you are taken donw by a flying coffin in a J-10!!!! All you have to do is a loop and you are practically behind the enemy anyway.

I didn't say I was taken down, I said everytime ONE missle hit me it did 70% damange to me.
Seriously, take the 'you're not that good' issue out of here, I fly a lot and I am good.
AND, PLEASE, leave this thread for the proffesionls, please :) I don't want it to turn into a flame war or the whole jet issue all over again.

the trick to F35 is to fly High, if a J10 gets on your tail your pretty screwed, the best way ive found to get rid of one is to make it follow me HIGH until it stalls out and flies outta bounds.
