Not transferring @ 100MBps

I have 2 comps connected with an ethernet cable at 100MBps, but stuff isn't transferring nearly that fast. Is there something wrong? I don't want PoE 2 to take like 2 hrs. transferring. ( I'm using NetMeeting because one comp is on a domain.)

Just download it on the other computer instead of transferring it

it depends on ya hard drives.... if ur hard drive cant read/write at 100mbps then you wont get a 100mbps transfer rate

It's faster to transfer it though, so I guess I'll start the long haul

The mod is supplied as 2 files so that it can be burned to 2 CDs for backup or just burn both to a DVD . hey presto . easy to transfer and a hard copy if you need to reinstall

it depends on ya hard drives.... if ur hard drive cant read/write at 100mbps then you wont get a 100mbps transfer rate

i think you would you be hard pushed to find a hard drive whose rate of transfer was less than 100mbps!!!!
