Cleaning Harddrive!

Today I will be erasing my hard drive and reinstalling windows. I am doing this because I have so much crap on my computer.

My first question is: I have forgotten my password because I set it to remember password.

My second question is: To clean my drive do i just reformatt it? or how do i do it?

If security is not a big deal, yeah just reformat it.

You could delete the partition and create a new one.

You could use the free version of killdisk to safely delete everything and make it unrecoverable.

All three of the above will work.

I just got done cleaning, and im reinstalling my drivers and such. Sorry i didnt get to use your advice, I decided to use the all powerfull google.
