    how to disable performance checker?

    on the tech support page it recommends downloading this http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...exctrlst-o.asp file but when i go there the page doesnt exist.

    any ideas where i can get this file from?

                          You mean the performance MONITOR/counter...yes, I disable it.
