When do your new points get added...?

I have a question.......

When do your newly acquired points get added to your total score?
I have had a few problems with a couple of matches that I get “there is a problem with your connection” and I get booted off. Do I then lose those points I have just scored or not.
Seems like I lose my new points unless I finish/complete a match…is this correct???

yep if the server crashes you lose your points, but if you leave the server and the map finishes without a catch then the points you aquired will go towards your stats

when a server finishes a round, all the scores are transfered to the master server

anyway of gettting the back or getting back onto the serer/match when "there is a problem with you connection" occurs.
This sucks, all my tidy matches with loads of points (for me anyway!) keeps being lost.........

Every 10 seconds or so.

EA confirmed this, saying that the server crashes don't kill your points. I'd give you the link, but I forgot where it is...hmmm...

I had a crash last night and never got the points. The whole game crashed with still 50 tickets to go on our side [ we were loosing just] and I still havn't seen the points. I was doing well apart from one TK.

Never heard that before and that would cause a big load on the backend system to be sending score info every 10secs. For one, I have never received points or awards when a server has crashed before the end of the round.

Unless you can find a post from a developer saying this, I think that is BS. It is not practical, and is useless without the end-of-round scores for medals.

From what I have seen and been told by some GSP's, the scores are sent in at the end of the round and only then.

The scores are sent to the stat server when the round ends.
If the server crashes you lose you score!

after all this time you guys still havent figured it out,

play a match, check your score in game before you start, check it a few times while you are playing. NOW TELL ME if it has not updated during the round, if you say it hasnt then its the weekend or your lying, stats get updated every 10 SECONDS to the Gamespy site. whether they show up or not. the ONLY thing you wont get if you get disconnected or server crashes are awards, they dont get awarded until the end of round.

Probably because it was FRIDAY night, it could take up to 3 days for those points to be logged due to the serious backlog of people checking their stats.

Yes your points go if you get kick/banned/disconnected. But no.. You can't just lose them. It's take 15 or 20 to update your global scores. ( Sometimes maybe even an hour. )
