A Question Regarding Rank

hi, I just got my knife badge after I was promoted to Master Sgt, just wondering, is it a bug that after getting the badge im not promtoed to First Sgt or did EA mean it this way and you must get the knife badge before 20,000 points to get first sgt?

Dont worry about it, I had the same prob. Its not a glitch, but really, this is well known.


I was a master sgt till 50.000 points. This did not make me less skilled, nor do I (at this point) underestimate someone with that rank.

Master Gunnery Sergeant is a rare rank nowadays. This is why I plan to get it. =)

this has to be altleast the billionth thread on this topic. the ranks are PROGRESSIVE, you can't go back and get awards later when you feel like it

Master Gunnery Sergeant is a rare rank nowadays. This is why I plan to get it. =)

Everyone can become a MGS with 50K only... You must mean First Sergeant, it requires all Basic badges (read the link).

I see the pretty star more than I don't.

Pretty much everybody goes for First Sergeant. It's gotten to the point where MGS is almost non-existant. Thats why I'm not getting my Aviator badge until after I become a MGS. =)

Besides. MGS reminds me of Metal Gear Solid, and Solid Snake > You.
