    Never had this before...

    Can't reinstall, getting message at the end of the install.

      U must remove all BF2 componets or it wont reinstall. EA's website can give u the hlep u need. Just click on support. Google is your friend.

          I had this same error. Turned out my DVD was scratched. Got Skip Dr and it fixed the problem.

              Yeah, one reason to treat your disks well. Can save you money. Store them in a case if you care about them.

                  My disks have hardly come out of my computer since Feb.

                      If you saw my room youd cry. There are discs everywhere on my desk. But... if you look on the lower shelf on my desk you see Bf2 in its entirety perfect. no dust *dusts everyday* (kidding) cd's in perfect condition *knock on wood* =D
