New to game, first impressions

After a few hours solid playing, i have a few thoughts.

+ Some good maps, good variation in play, good game concept

- VERY unstable (2 disconnects and 2 crashes), no teamwork whatsoever

Just wondering if this is the case across the board and this is really what i have to look forward to for the rest of my bf2 gaming.

Honestly, yes and no. I play with my clan members mostly and get some really great teamwork going, if I can't get to play with them I will make a squad and lead them. If I still can't get things to work out, I usually end up playing some allied intent mod SP or POE2 multiplayer (non-ranked and usually great teamwork).

As for the crashing and disconnects, I've found that sometimes I get them all the time and others I can play 4-5 hours straight without incident *shrug*. But your problems can be blamed mostly on patch 1.3...1.4 is around the corner and has said to fix server stability.

I found the same late last year when i had the ps2 version when it comes to teamwork. Is it worth me trying to find a low level clan to try to see more of this aspect of the game?

Joining a clan is completely up to you, I've found pubs (non-clan players) to be more effective then clan members and in other situations I've had the opposite. I think if you frequent multiple servers you'll know who to play with and whom to steer clear of. I would squad up with a high ranked player (not saying they're the best) and go from there. I got x fire, my thingy is killmedammit, look forward to playing with you. I'll look to play with high ranked players like you say (inbetween crashes)
