According to EA forums there will be an Official announcement next week on 1.4 patch.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; Any thread about "1.4" is worthless without an official update from EA.

Ya might wanna read this then , it,s about as close to official as official gets.
The originator of the other post has been anoited by EA Admin to make statements.
So im 95% sure it is true.

Keep those fingers crossed . We've gone through this the past 2 weeks, everything from the leak from EAD (false) to the ea release web page crack....it's been done and until ea's battlefield site says "download 1.4 here" I'm not holding my breathe.

We don't care much for 'news of an announcement' .. the actual announcement itself is what we care about.

Let's just wait and see.
