Why doesnt EA (Regarding 1.4)

They have fixed the CTD in 1.4, now 1.4 is being delayed for who knows how long. Why dont they just release the CTD part of the new code in a hotfix?

This is a simple question and the answer is simple aswell..
Simply because EA doesn't want to release another bugged patch like 1.3's one.
Imagine if this happens again.. EA will lose its whole believability.

But the thing that scares me is.. what would happend if EA releaseda game like this for a console?
With PC Games they can release 1000 patches but for a console .. the game is "as it is".. I don't wanna wonder about that, it's better..

1.3 was supposed to be the ultimate patch by them to address X amount of bugs and so forth....and we all know how that turned out lol

i would assume it is different for console games because it is locked down to that hardware and that is all they have to worry about, not ten million different hardware and OS combinations. not that console games are perfect though, i remember socom had a few little patches.

on the topic of releasing hot fixes, who know why they didn't. microsoft sometime refuses to release hotfixes too for critical bugs and makes ya wait to the normal second tuesday of the month, which is just as retarded, but there must be some QA or blah blah dumb policies involved that won't allow for a hotfix.

Just be patient, we've all waited 2.5 months already, what is another week or 3.
There have already been at least 2 dozen threads about this already. People get really sick of the same thing all the time "When is the patch....?" Where O' where is the patch...?" You know what happened to those other threads?
