This works 100% for me. Everyone probably knows this already though....

When the map has finished loading and the JOIN GAME button appears, just wait for about 15-20 seconds then click on it.

It only seems to crash when I click on it straight away.

Yeah..this has been around a while.

Another option is to use the ESC key instead of clicking on 'Join Game'.

The other alternative that I have found works is to not hit the "join" button but instead hit the escape key. Seems to help.

Hmm, so thats how it works ? Thanks for sharing this guys. Maybe we wont have to do this if v1.4 does come out.

Another way is to have the "auto-ready" box checked and let the game start on it's own...the only draw back to this is you have to wait xx amount of seconds for that feature to kick in. I think it's like 30 seconds for the auto-ready to work.

escape key...clever. I've just been waiting for the music to do it's hiccup a few seconds after the join button appears.

i just wait for the game to join me automatically
