I get it once in a while, and have been getting it since the demo. Most of the time for me, it happens after you click a spawn kit or respawn on a flag.

yeah CTD is a good old feature of bf2. here's a horror story that happened today, i was on a server with one of my friends, and the game locked up at such a random moment, and i couldnt do anything, so i leaned up on the power button, and rebooted my pc, when i booted up, my anti virus was corrupted and i had lost internet. after a few resets and unplugs i got everything back to normal, but this :censored: should never happen again, or EA is getting a good hit in the jaw from angry gamers like me

Usually only happens when I clicked the "JOIN" button (worst was 4 times in a row). Had it only happen once in-game.

This is old news. Ever since EA release 1.3 patch everyone has gotten CTD at least 1 a day. For me its like 3-5 times a day. Sometimes it will happen right after the map loads or while playing the game.

its very very old news that started years ago.

I still get the join game CTD's but the ingame ones have dramatically decreased since I removed a gig of ram from my computer...??? Maybe it couldnt keep up with the graphic load or BF2 didnt like it, i dunno

it's become so common as of late that despite constant reinstalls it happens every 5 minutes.

i usually wait a couple seconds before hitting "join" works mostly
the other times its random, like i get in heli or other
