We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Why would you want to change that?
No ranking means a game will start when there are 2 people in server.
I want to explore the maps, and what spawn in certain places, on my own created server. Nothing big, I just am getting dang sick of the stupid 1 more player needed to start crap right in the middle of the screen!
So I basically want to start my own local server with just me in it. Just to mess around, get used to the maps, find all the weapons that spawn....you know?
Not all that intersted in the easter eggs. But I take it your not going to help me out...? Is there a reason why 2 of you guys have replied without telling me how to do this?
Is it that big a deal you gotta run me around with assumptions? Thanks POE!
The pro of FFOLKES's way is that every time your server is started, it will only need one person to begin the game, which can be pretty handy. The con however is that none of your server's settings can be changed from what was currently in the "ServerSettings.con" file when you set it to Read-Only (even if you change settings in BF2) because the file can no longer be written to as long as it is Read-Only.
