ATI Catalyst 6.8 Problems

I've been having some big problems with the new ATI drivers. Whenever I play Battlefield 2 my computer will either crash to the desktop or restart itself.
Has anyone else had any problems with this new driver ?

(my card is the X800pro GTO)

I have the same problem. Does your screen turn blue and then does it restart?

I have a Radeon 9800 Pro and I have no problems with 6.8.

A couple of questions for you: Do you use ATI's cat-uninstaller.exe when removing the old driver? Also, did you update your Microsoft .Net Framework to the latest version (released April of this year)? Both are critical to proper functioning of Catalyst drivers.
