    Yes, its much better than the random number generator controlled arty.

      yes i do :) i dont like waiting for players to "spot" for me, but if i get to be the commander in the arty i have a lot of fun.

        I love it. I think it is especially popular with those of us that have been playing since the early days of Bf1942.

          Certainly a breath of fresh air over the constant bombardment of n00b arty in BF2.

          If they'd just make it so that arty in BF2 is ONLY available when a SL requests it, it'd be TONS better...not as fun as in POE2...but better than what it is now in vanilla.

            Its great. Reminds me of the good ole days of BF1942.

            Of course, I only like it cause its one shot kills on tanks. Just go towards a flag spot the enemy and boom.:evil: There all gone, nothing can get in my way. Except for jets.

              I think the commander should be able to spot arty too. not enough infantry on the ground seem interested in doing it from what I have seen.

              it's just that I always end up sitting in the arty piece begging for a spot!
