i have no problem connecting to servers and after playing for like 10 mins, the game crashes (freezes) and there is a weird noise looping and looping. That noise sounds like those noise made by fax machines. I have no problem playing with other games and this is driving me nuts, btw, would it be possible that i t can be cured by changing some settings in the audio options??? I have a creative soundblaster audigy 4 sound card. thx

You may want to try and disable any background services your computer is running that you don't need. I had this problem for quite a while until a number of startup services were disabled. I was told "Wireless Zero Configuration" is a likely culprit. Fire up msconfig (start>run>msconfig) and head over to the services tab. Other probable causes are excessive overclocking of your cpu/gpu, or overheating.Comment

I have the same problem. I am playing a map and my game just freezes. I have to restart the PC. Its probably because of overheating problem for me. Because I can stay on for a while. Than I have to turn off and I turn it back on and the game works good for another 10 minutes.Comment
