getting horrible lag when dazed

Hey guys, i'm getting this problem when i tried the widescreen sticky so now my bf2 looks really awesome, but whenever a grenade goes off or arty hits or a tank shoots by my ear, i get this horrible dazed lag. usually i just get dazed, then shake it off in a few seconds but still i'm able to play during this dazed state, but now i can't do anything, its worse than getting flashed in the the face.

this started happening when i added tried the widescreen thing. is there a way around that?

im sure its an effect the games uses but im not 100% sure because generally you would become dazed if artillery etc hit around you.

the game just does this when an explosion goes off near you

dont worry about it
