The stats were a good idea, but then it ruined the game because everyone was so worried about stats, that they would spawn camp all the time and not capture the CPs. Teamwork is fading...

Re: Do u take BF2 seriously?

i now play strictly spec ops so i dont care about the other badges but i do care about my kd ratios which drive me nuts when i go 1:2 in some rounds

i usually try to maintain a 1:1 or 2:1 but its hard with my crappy system

and i dont care about rank since it means nothing, but i still take bf2 seriously

                  1. The badges, ribbons and few medals come themselves, I think I got only two badges on purpose, knife and pistol.
                  2. I don't think of the stats while playing though I must admit that it nice to look at good afterwards.

When I first started playing I wanted to get all the badges and such, and so got all the veteran class badges.

After that I didn't feel like playing as much anymore, and so I stopped for a while.

Now I'm playing again and well, the badges aren't so shiny anymore. I just play to play now.

I really don't care about rank/badges/medals. They are some of the most unimportant things ever. I do enjoy looking at my stats, see if I got any better, but that's about it. I play the game for fun and the teamwork aspect of it. Great fun with people you know, or a group you've played with for a while.

In the beginning i DID cared about my shiny medals/stats.. But now I just play for fun with my clan on our own server.. Right now i'm more into matches... We currently ranked 2nd in the ED infantry 16 player ladder.. And we only just moved on there.. To me matches are a lot more fun because theres a lot more teamwork and no smacktards or n00bs..:) So no i don't care about my stats no more, in fact i don't play much public at all anymore..They are just a number.. they don't get you sh1t except commander wich is a boring job.

I like getting medals, ribbons, badges and promotions...makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside . Honestly, it makes me feel like I'm working towards a goal and getting said award makes me feel a slight acomplishment in the game.

Yeah sure, but the 'you have lost the round' music track at the end just makes us getting hurted. So keep the teamwork up
