What version should I install tomorrow?

Hello all,

Im going to be reinstalling BF2 tomorrow (need to spend night getting HDD space) and I was hoping someone could tell me as I havent played online for a little while which patch version should I install when i install BF2 Vanilla?

Im not sure as which would be best are all the servers running version 1.3 or would I be able to play on more servers if I install and use the v1.4 beta patch to try and play online.

Im asking now so I dont have to go through the bother of downloading both patches to find out which is the one everyones playing online.

Also, I used to have the CTD issue on v1.0, then on 1.3 it was cured is there any chance of 1.4 bringing the problem back?

Either that or wait for v1.4 full to be released who-knows-when.

Inded, Talus would be 100% correct. Follow the install order located in my sig and you should be alright. If you do not have a booster skip it and go to the next one.

there are VERY few servers running the 1.4 beta, but they are sooooooo much better cause you don't deal with 1,3 glitches which means YOU CAN ACTUALLY PLAY FOR MORE THEN 8 SECONDS!
