Camera-only players?

Hey,

I'm wondering how those screenshots are taken without anything on the screen... like is it a special camera-only mode? And videos, how do they get the camera in those locations and positions for videos?

renderer.drawHud 0 turns the HUD off renderer.drawHud 1 turns the HUD on. These are console commands.

Are you sure they are not showing something taken from Battlerecorder?

there is no free camera mode when in game. but, if you are viewing a battlerecorder file, then you can move freely, pausing anytime you want, and changing the speed of the action.

you can also use the above mentioned commands to turn off any HUD display on your screen.

Yes, there is, it's a server option.

sv.allowFreeCam 1

It let's you fly around without any limit. Just look at my sig that's all with freecam.

Press the left "ALT" first, then, press ~ and, type in

renderer.drawHud 0

That way you don't have those flag markers in the distant.
