I understand that although the game has a 16+ rating, some players may be younger so the need for restraint is very much there wrt language but PUHLEEESE, Is this really that bad a word ?

LOL i have been kicked for saying "tosser" and "idiot" ,these servers are a joke.What should i say if i get punished if some noob walks in front of my tank etc" tally ho old chap i thoughly deserved the punish ,may god give me a anal infection.

While it is not considered profanity, it is derogatory and can incite chat wars that can lead to much harsher language. BF2CC setting used to head off trouble. Deal with it or move on.

Unless you are a certified psycoanalyst and have AMA approved standardized I.Q. tests for the subject, you can not claim that your assesment of someone as an idiot is factual. That makes you calling someone an idiot derogatory and inflamatory.

Seriously, lame as it might be, the folks that run that server set that up that way to try and cut down on admin time and increase play time. Hell, there might not have been an admin on at all and the server was set to auto-admin.

Anyway, jumping out of there was your best move.
