Well, I normally play real late at night, or when I first wake up. Just add me to a buddy list in BF2tracker and you'll find me. I play on Insomina a lot, I think their servers are in Dallas so I ping like crazy to them. Mostly though I am on 24/7 Sharqi Insomina365. You'll find me in as a squad leader behind the lines ripping the USMC a new one.
I'm curious as to what you do for a living where uttering the word "stock" on the internet could cause a regulatory grey-area.

After Martha Stewart, Enron and a whole slew of other recent stock scandals, the SEC has been on the warpath and everybody has gone ultra conservative on these type regulations. It is not confined to the traders, it trickles down to employees of publically traded companies who occupy "key" roles.
Hell, I am even discouraged in writing "Letters to the Editor" of my local paper. My position within the company is such that a public declaration of a personal opinion "could" be seen as more and therefore reflect poorly upon my employer. I don't really mind. Our local paper sucks.

Funny you say that, I was just talking about it to a co-worker how many people get punished now because of zero-tolerance policies of the last 15 years, and how extreme it has gone, even into people's personal life. Hell, companies commonly run credit checks of people to see if they are stable.

Depending on whom you work for and what documents your signed at the time of employment, they can do a lot more than just credit checks. Yet one more reason to NEVER sign ANYTHING unless you completely read and understand the entire document.

You are also subject to having your incoming and outgoing phone calls monitored (company phone), all incoming and outgoing e-mail (company computer), complete web log history (company computer) and searches of your work area/desk. There is NO expectation of privacy in the workplace.
If your company has a morals clause, you could be subjected to censure or termination based upon the severity of your violation. This extends into your personal life as you are viewed as a represenative of the company and your actions reflect back upon said company.

Oh ya, I know all about that stuff. Hell, I have a myspace site that has little more then my name. It does not even have a picture of me on it! I am not going to get caught up in someone using the USA PATRIOT Act to get web logs of what is on my site. I love my job, and I don't have any grips about it, I don't have IM, and I don't use my work email for personal use. We have firewalls that protect everything that goes in and out. So, I am not worried about me causing any red flags. But yes, it is crazy how much they can get away with. Have you read about the new stuff the Dept of Labor is trying to get put in place under the cover of "statisical archiving" that will make a data base that will put everything in one place so employers and educational institutions can review records of everything you have ever done? Crazy times we live in. Kinda why I use-to have the Ben Frank quote, these young kids growing up know nothing about what America once was like because they have lived so long with camera's in schools, backpack checks, having to wear badges on campus. They are accustom to having their lives be transparent and are more easy to except being under a microscope as adults.

I know what you are talking about. Just don't want to seem like I wear a tinfoil hat when I go to bed. I am waiting for the day that car insurance rates are going to go up because the government lets the insurance companies look at your spending habits to see if you travel to another city a lot, or when we pay taxes for our plates based on how many miles we travel. The insurance companies are going to love that one!
Alright so I though I would give everyone an update.
So I started out emailing customer service, before I posted here. As it turns they were more then happy to here from me. Almost like I had a hundred dollar bill hanging out the front of my pants. The also said is should go post on there boards under game play advice. So I posted there and it turns out that ONE OF THE BIGGEST THREADS IS ABOUT HOW MUCH AA SUCKS ***. The other's are about how much 1.3 sucks **** and the crashing and what not. The general consensus seems to be EA/ Dice don't give a **** about Bf2 .1.4 is going to get the old horse up on to her feet. Bf " Mech Wars" (as I call it) Has all the stuff you and your dog companied about and their hoping that you buy it and forget about old Bf2. The only thing I found disappointing is that no one who posted claimed to be with EA/ Dice. So there you have it.
Here is a suggestion for everyone that wants to raise hell with ANY corperation.
Don't send e-mails. They most likely will not make it through the company filter.
Don't contact Customer Service. If your "problem" is not on their error list, you are wasting your time.
Do send written correspondence to their Board of Directors. Be professional and legible. If you send anything like your post, it will get tossed.
Do post on their stock's message board. Again, be respectfull, professional and legible. If you go nuts and start ranting like you are in a TBF2 forum, you could get into some legal trouble.
Big corperations are concerned with image. Most of the investors are large institutions and may not have a single stock analyst on the payroll that even plays pc games. Your precise, thought out, well written greivence, along with any substantial proof, will have more impact than ten thousand online petitions or spam campaigns. Wake up the investors and you MIGHT get the attention that you need to see real change.
If they'd fix the hitboxes on some Jets, Anti-Aircraft missles wouldn't suck so bad.
I'd also like it if they'd increase the recast timer by an extra 10-20 seconds. Jets should not get a "get out of an arse-kicking free card" so fast. Especially when half of the anti-aircraft, and jet missles don't even hit them anyways.
I also feel that Helicopters should have their recast timer decreased to at least half of what it is now. Anti-aircraft officially rapes them, and they don't deserve to get punished because Jets are unfairly godlike.
