Sick and tired of all kind of rule, real warfare has no rule! I don't know if anyone has ever played Nova Logic's Delta Force series. A good idea there was that the new spawns can not be killed within the first several second unless he start firing. This tremendously discouraged many kinds of base raping you guys are talking about. Just wonder why BF2 didn't borrow that excellent idea?

A little bit off-topic but,
didnt you hate it when in the '42/DC times a friendly tank on EL AL sat on the repair pad and killed al friendlies he could see. now that is baseraping lol.

I look at it this way.

If their main is their only base left and they're being raped there well tough.
If they're that bad then they would be getting raped at some other base, if not at their main.

What I find unsportsmanlike though is when teammates continually baserape an uncappable, when the enemy have other flags.

They do this solely to whore points, and if they were team players they would support the team in capping all remaining cappable flags before base raping to whore points.

I don't believe in the blanket "Attacking uncappables is restricted to kit items" rule a lot of servers run. I would however support a slightly flexible "Uncappables must be raped last" rule.

I don't think anything a spec ops does with out vehicles or spawn points classifies as rape.

This no baseraping, this is tactic if you hate the commander using the artillery and if you see the commander, of course you kill him. If not what are you going to do, just wait there until he notices? Baseraping is when they go to your base and destroy your planes and vehicle. Dropping arties everytime in your base. They are sort of baserape but they are called cheap kill. Bombing your base with F-35 is cheap. Base rapers who go and get an apc and kill everyone is a common baseraper.

Base rape can also be spawn killing at a cappable base and not capping it.... FOR EG, USMC captures all bases on karkand, but hotel, but instead of getting the base, they take their armour and our armour and start getting points..

I wouldnt consider that base rape. I was inside blowing stuff up on Karand in the USMC Main Base and I got kicked. I mean I hate these rules. I go in there to do it for my team and try to win the round by blowing up the COMMANDER SUPPLIES. Some Admins do not know how to run a server. They abuse the power even though its theirs. I understand that its their server but they kick for stupid stuff.

I hate it too! But its their rules! Just don't play in their servers.

In my opinion :

Base Rape is Spawn Camping in an uncap base
without intent to kill commander or destroy assets.

Think it's fine if all other capture points taken.

Some servers will kick if you even kill anyone in an un-cap.
'No-fly' zones over carrier [etc].

* Think Spec-ops deserves to defend themselves after/before mission.

so long as it was a trip to blow up the assete and u just happened to kill the commander and a few enemies on the way out, thats cool. shanking commanders has to be one of the most enjoyable things u can do.

base raping is like when you stay just outside of the permimeter of the base in your comfy APC and shoot the living **** out of everyone who spawns there.

I was in a game one time flying a jet and i flew out to sea i looked behind me for a second turned around and killed some enemy ina chopper by hitting him on accident. Banned Reason: ***. (horrible admin) because i killed him?

thats not baseraping. Now say if the person jumped into and APC or tank and proceeds to kill everyone who spawns and does not make any effort to leave the base, then that's baseraping in my book.

At that point you will get a warning from our admins. We usually give 2 warnings before kicking someone. Come back and continue then you will be banned.

I think most admins just kick immediatley because warning players usually does no good. This is not a good policy to practice because people will see your server as having bad admins. This sucks because the person getting kicked usually deserves it. Just warn them first, warn them 2 times. If they are truly an asshat there to disrupt gameplay then you will have a million opportunities to get rid of them. People like this always sink their own ship.
