Unbelievable EA..

So for the most part I never had any serious complaints with EA, aside from patch 1.3, but this is jsut rediculous, heres the story.

I have to reinstall BF2 due to HD crash, play for 3 or so days with this annopying auto-join feature that always comes up after resintall. It joins servers before you can even do ANYTHING. Usually I dont finish loading, and stop after the bar has barely moved. I didnt think much about it.

A few days later I get informed by the TBF2 admin and ROE admin that I have been visitng Knife/Pistol servers. My first thought is that someone hijacked my account and is trying to get my points wiped, but I realize it would be much easier to glitch to do that.

After that I start recalling the Auto-Join feature, and look into my server history and vwoola.



EA made me join these servers, that THEY did not remove from the list. I got kicked out of server group because of this, and I hoped that ROE and TBF2 admins would understand the situation, however I was wrong.

Its when you sign in, and it joins a random server for you.

I think he is refering to the "PLAY NOW!" feature that I never use, mainly because of gay things like that happening. I hope they don't wipe your stats or anything mate, if they do tell 'em and they will (or should) give them back, with an apology hopefully!

Oh,U click to Play BF2 online now button not on Start BF2 button!

That is correct, but I think he is talking about how when you log in you start loading up a random server.

Dont us the "Play BF2 Online Now" Button. First of all it will connect you to a random server and second takes forever to load the game. Just use the "Start BF2" Button only. This should help to solve the problem of connecting to knife/pistol servers. I hope they dont wipe your stats.

If I understand you correctly, you really have nothing to complain about since the cause of your initial problem is user error. You are clicking the wrong icon to start BF2. On the other hand, 90% of poeple already know this and do not have this problem. If you were playing in KP servers are are conveniently using the excuse of, "It's automatically sends me there and I don't know how to press escape and use the server browser because it owns me every time", that is unbelieveable.
You have 2 icons for BF2:

BF2 <---use this one
Play BF2 Online Now! <---delete this one

I could see you complaining about the auto join feature putting you in a KP 1 time, but if you notice on your screen shot, you've played on it 5 times
and the other KP 2 times.

so your gripe is not completely founded..

That really blows.
This why I don`t belive in the whole reporting thing. Far too easy to jump to the wrong conclusion.

Wait so you are saying if you use the BF2 icon to start up BF2 it won't put you in a random server after you log in? ( I would check myself, but I am at work )

If this is true I feel like a complete noob not knowing this after playing 350 hours of this:laugh: :laugh:
