Noobish Question

To my understanding, any mods as far as blood mods, weapon mods, skin mods, ect. All client side mods shouldnt effect you from being able to get into any server right?
I thought I would just ask before I go installing mods.

When u play mods U can join only on servers that run that kind of mods!
U cant play lets say PoE2 in battlefield server because that server doesnt run that map

Cromat is right. You cannot instantly go from like USI to POE2 without exiting one and firing up the other.
You also cannot realy have "custom" skins or other content unless it is supported by that mod/game. PB might end up ont liking it either and give you an error message when loading in about unmodified content.

I guess what I am asking is if install a blood mod, that should only effect my game play, and should not effect me getting into any server correct?

Yes it will not affect your vanilla BF. But you will have to exit blood mod and open Vanilla BF in order to connect to a server.

No. You cannot do it for the reason I outlined in my post. PB will not allow you to connect because of unmodified content. If you are trying to customize your BF2 client like you would a CS game, forget it.

If however you attempt to cheat in this game then PB will happily welcome you into a server give you a 10 kill headstart from the others! Enjoy
