Its was something that wasnt priority/thus never got finished.
Why its in the build is another question for us devs!

I wonder how many megabytes are tied up in unfinished content in general.

Clearly the physics, behavior, controls, hitboxes and graphics of the snowmobile are in there somewhere, we all have them.

This isnt a dig against POE2, just a general observation. I wonder how much stuff like that exists elsewhere that we download and never use.

It isnt actually in the game in a normal environment.

That pic was taken after somebody using the BF editor software picked apart the POE folders and found it then used the editor to put the unfinished snowmobile into a local version of the map.
