a good sniper is constantly on the move.. bringing us to the point that Chris_Redfield is getting at: if you drop that tank as commander, you're running a big risk of missing the sniper (who will move out of the way after the drop has been initiated) and bam, free tank for the enemy.
So it is a good choice for people who are running away from tanks, like that Armored Fury demonstration video.
