Whenever I see somebody with the MG36, I take out my pistol. lol

PKM for power and accuracy, mg36 for good looks and sound, SAW for if you dont want to hit the broad side of a barn

If I have to be support I try and use either the mg36 or the rpk....SO much quieter, faster rate of fire and seemingly better accuracy.

WTF, who cares about the sound?
PKM kills everything. Rate of fire means nothing when the guy is dead in 3 shots. Just go prone and unzoomed, shoot in short bursts, and you can kill tons of people.

Guess what my vote is for?

P.S. The RPK is very nice as well. I will use that if I can.

I like to use the PKM on maps like Karkand. I'll use the MG36 on maps like Wake Island, or Sharqi Peninsula. The PKM owns at close range.

mg36 because its basically the G36 with 100 rounds. the only tricky part is i think the actually hit spot of the bullet is right in the middle of the sight apreture.

You could fire burst rounds with MG36! Which makes it fire long distances! And Automatic for full support at close range!

But if you don't have that unlock, the PRK-74 owns every single support weapon and unlock, it also owns the PKM. Don't argue to me about that, try that in a test server or firefight.

The PKM does an incredible amount of damage, but is loud and has horrible accuracy, mg has good accuracy, is quiet, has a much better rate of fire, but doesnt do as much damage. In short:
PKM=Short range
MG=Medium range

I had done PKM/MG36 fights, appears the MG36 wins, its just that the PKM is brutally loud that players think its the ONE

When you need support + stealth + accuracy = MG36.

When you need support + power + mad grin = PKM.

Despite what others have said, sound does play an important factor though - both psychologically and tactically. PKM's sound meaty - and help keep the enemies heads down, if they know whats good for them. Tactically, well heres a story (Slightly off-topic:) On Mass Destruction, I heard the distinctive crack of a Barrett nearby. I checked the mini-map, no friendlies in the area. So I checked the bunker nearby for the enemy sniper - and what do you know - there he was.

Does anyone expirence the thing.. hmm how do i explain if you hit the first shot witht he pkm usually all the shots hit, but if you dont get your little x on the first shot i never hit them until i stop firing and start agian?? does anyone know what im talking about?

I do, and its quite strange but I see it happening a lot and have been killed because of it on many occasions.
