BF2 Stats Termination

Just want to clarify that this is a rumor. Stats will not be reset due to a contract being ended by EA, stats will not be reset or wiped in the near future, support will continue on the stats and the rumor of stats being wiped soon is false:

''We've seen a few rumours like this, BF2 support is not going to be terminated in any way, that includes the ones mentioned on that forum.''

Confirmation from when I PM'd one of the EA reps that was the reply.

This whole thing was started as a rumour....nothing official.

So why do we need an official statement and a sticky to finish it?
