Laggy Game Play

My System:
Asus A8N-SLI Premiun
2 gb of corsair Value select
2 Ledtek 6800 GT in SLI
AMD Athon 64 4400 x2
SB X-Fi Fatal1ty

Some days I can play for hours on end and not any issues. As of late I will be playing a map and all of a sudden it turns into a slide show. I atl-Tab out to find that the game is using 2.3-2.8 gb of mem. I'll exit the game and there will still be 1.5 or so of mem being used. About 3 weeks ago I reformated the system and put the new Cpu in. The problem did really start as so as I upgraded, so I don't believe that to be the issue. Can anyone give somw insight or tip what I can do. Oh I have tried turning the graphic setting back down and that did not do anything.

No errors in any other games? Wait a week or so for patch 1.4, you could spend a week trying to fix this issue....

yeah, lag was almost never a prob for me until 1.3 even though i have low speed dsl.

just wait till 1.4 it's sad but true.

And this only happens in multi-player? Try single player, that way you can eliminate your network connection as being the issue. If it lags out on single-player, then you have a driver/windows issue.
