    I hate FRAPS

    I can't stand FRAPS ANYMORE!
Is there something better I can use?
I heard of something called "Battlelaunder", but what it all about and is it good?
I am tried of FRAPS, it is creap and even on low settings it sucks!
I can use FRAPS for BR, but I need something for first-person view
    Can anyone help?

I already have a GIG of Ram
I put all BF2 settings to low, (makes everything look like Crap!)
I hate that. I want something that I can record in high settings

I really don't have 100$ to get another GIG of RAM
I just want another type of Recording device that works in BF2 on high settings and don't give me lag

I have the full licence one
The only way i can even get kills with FRAPS is to turn all my settings to low
I hate that, because it makes everything look creap.
What's with the Battlelaunder thing? is that any good?

                Battlelauncher is from EA/Dice... so it's ****

                seriously,
1- It plays the recorded demo, but since the demo recording doesnt work anymore, there's no need to get the Battlelauncher ****.

2- It doesnt record in frist-person, but in third, it just records what happens in the round so you can toggle between every players, (like when your killed and your seeing other ppl playing)

3- I use FRAPS, I have 1.5 G of ram and it lags like HELLLLL even when I put all on low. So yea, FRAPS is gay but there's nothing you can do. There's another program called GameCam but punkbuster doesnt allow it.

Moral of the story : FRAPS needs a monster machine. Maybe try to put ur recorded directory into another drive or partition. (ex: FRAPS is installe don ur C/, try to record ur files in D/.

Another tips I've heard : Open FRAPS, go ingame, during fire exchange (not when your looking at the sea, doing nothing) look at the displayed FPS (yellow), then go in fraps and change the FPS so that number. Dunno if it works, maybe you can tell me, didnt try it.

Search the forum, there's a entire thread about this

Maybe I should put my whole video in thrid person
Using FRAPS, FRAPS may come out alittle creap, but I can at least put my settings on high in BR and it will work fine

You guys also have to note that AGP slot graphic cards are the worse with FRAPS. I have AGP and i will never get above a certian framerate no matter what graphics settings i have on. Keep that in mind..

There has to be, because I see alot of BF2 videos that don't use FRAPS and the video looks GREAT

no, some of them do use fraps, but they have a very good machine, so for them they get maybe up to 40 fps when recording or so, For me, if i launch a battlerecorder with my graphics on high, i get 60 or 70 fps when NOT recording, but when i do record i get up to 20 or 15, so its pretty much on what kind of machine you got, so if you have a pos computer, sorry, fraps might not work

yeah.. i can run at like 70 fps on fraps if i tryed max 2x aa.

i think its just that you dont like how your computer dosent run fraps well, its a really good program and if it sucked then there would probably be more alternatives.

For some reason, FRAPS used to work good with low settings, but now it doesn't
