Since there is a huge amount of posts regarding hacking in bf2 I thought I would chime in. I have hacked bf1942, bfv, bf2 and now bf2142. Its scary how easy it is to do actually if you know what your doing and for the most part most people dont.

There are three kinds of people in this community. There are the hackers. There are the people that would like to hack but dont want to get caught. And there are the people that simply dont have access to hacks or dont know how to hack but want to nonetheless. And if you deny these facts your lying to yourself.

The vast amounts of posts regarding hacking lately are simply stupid. Some of the things they suggest people are doing is simply impossible. God mode? impossible. Things like health and ammo are all controlled server side, so unless you editted packets sent to the server which is quite hard to do, or were actually on the server box playing, its pretty impossible to do. There was a post about a guy that had god mode on or something? The guy fraps the video of the whole while he was bunny hopping which I thought was hilarious because he was actually exploiting the game himself(remember the second kind of person?) but this actually was a bug with ff off. See when you turn ff off the server can misread a certain client as on the other team. So when this client go and kills an ememy they cant kill him because the server thinks hes a teammate and so he cant be killed. This is not a hack.

Most hackers out there are downloaders. They simply download a hack that is made public by various websites and friends of friends. There are very few "hack creators" like myself, which is good. And pb will find a hack if it is public(available for download) always. Even on sites that require payment. So if your thinking about hacking I wouldnt download anything. I have seen people get globally guid banned because they downloaded a hack.

Why am I posting this? Well to inform the community of thier misinformations. To help server admins in thier discissions about kicking someone they think is doing "too good". To help people better understand thier enemy.

Why do I hack? Quite simply because I know other people do and I am evening the battlefield. Until I know the battlefield is clear of all hacking, I will always keep my guard up. Its quite effective to see others who hack as well. For example in this new PoE2 mod there is no commander scan or uav. If someone kills you in a building that no one saw you go in they are hacking plain and simple.

I know I will get flamed for this but I hope it helps some what.

1. 99% of the gaming community isnt such a loser that it wants to cheat in a video game, you cant get any nerdier than that.

Personally i yhink peopel who cheat in real life to get things like money are sad, but cheating in a virtual game... o man, thats some serios sadness.

If you look hard enough on google you can find a god mode hack for the multiplayer demo version of bf2 btw incase you didnt know this the demo servers are ranked well some of them anyway and the stats do count.

I like that u came to community and shared this, but I have disagree with u on two things. One, alot of ppl out there never want to hack. I dont want to, because I dont need too. The three types of players u listed, is wrong. Hacking is the lowest form of an online gamer and a good percentage of the community dont want to stoop that low. I'm not lying to myself, your simply trying to convince or validate your theory on hacking. Which is my second point. By hacking yourself, u are ruining the game. Evening out the Battlefield? I dont think so. More like tilting it your own way. U want to make things fair? Be a community member, and report those who do wrong.

Interesting post but I have a small correction to make for your post regarding POE2. It's true that there is no Sat scan or UAV; however, the commander still retains the ability to point and click spot. Because of that one can't be too quick to judge if someone is using some sort of hack....but the possiblity shouldn't be ruled out either.

What disturbs me is that you obviously have to know and be quite talented in order to manipulate code to these ends - why then would you abuse that talent rather than create a great mod or mini-game?
It's a bewildering decision to make and it reflects terribly on you personally

As for OP, good post, good content. I dont like hacking nor hackers, but I do agree that at some point any player would have wanted to hack, even if just to try.

But wanting something doesnt mean you go and pursuit that goal .

Ok the very first time i saw god mode was when the demo was out before BF2was fully released i cant be arsed telling the full story but youll get the jigest.
Some guy on my team was camping under the train on gulf of oman (my teammate). He then starts to shot me untill im nearly dead and starts spamming sory i was in a bad mood because of what and been going on in the server and decided to tk him. I shot him he didnt die i jumped in a tank and shot the ****er he flew 40 foot up in the air landed on the ground and kept running. Basically i used every single thing at my disposal to kill one of my own teammates and he wouldnt die. Remember what i typed at the beging he nearly tked me and then spammed sorry so dont even try to say it ff was off.

BTW ive seen god mode 4 times in what 14 months once in the demo once when the game was first released and the 1.01 patch was recalled so we were playing the game out of the box. And twice again in the demo 4 months ago when i was talking a mate into getting bf2.

Multiplayer Demo version is unranked.

Depends on the server you play on because i was playing the demo constanly for about a fortnight 4 months ago (playing with a mate trying to get him to buy bf2) and the stats were counted.

OK seeings how your being upfront and so honest with the community. How bout you tell us what your hack can do?

Also whilst your being so honest how about you show us your stats to prove that what you claim to be true? Surely if you cheat you must own? I bet you kdr is not over 1:1

The only thing you are correct about is there is no god mode. The rest I smell BS!
