beeen having some problems lately. i want to reinstall the 1.3 patch and it says can't find bf2 install dir. incase you are going to say reinstall bf2 i have 1 other problem i can't seem to uninstall either.

Why cant you uninstall BF2 ? Just go to Start>All Programs>EAGAMES>Battlefield 2> Uninstall Battlefield 2.
If that doesnt work tell us why you cant reinstall it ?
Also when you install the patch do this. When it asks you to Locate the directory locate it manually. Click on the "Browse" and find it through there. If you dont know where its located its in :
Start>My Computer>Local Disk C:>Program Files>EAGAMES>Battlefield2. -

seems like a case of left hand cant find right hand. did you put in a different directory other than default when first installing bf2?Comment

if it was as esay as going to Start>All Programs>EAGAMES>Battlefield 2> Uninstall Battlefield 2. to uninstall it i wouldn't be asking the question. all it does is say it is starting the unistaller and then that is it nothing happens after that.
i am sure that i could reinstall the game but i would like to uninstall it first.
