Starting a Bf2 Server

Hi everyone!,
I have been thinking for a few days now if i sould start a BF2 server! it would have to be a 16 slot server.

I have a Counter Strike: Source server already and its going really well!. I dont know what a BF2 server needs i will need some help with the server as i have 1 to look after already!.

I need some Server admins:
To be able to join this admin team you will be some stuff.
- A Mic
- a max ping of 100 (Any Exceeding will result in a PB kick and we cant have that with admins)
- Know the admin commands
- Have the time to help Populate the server

Thats it really if you want the job please XFIRE me unlimitedcost
we already have 2 admins but they dont go on much i want about 4 global admins and 6 moderators (Make sure everything is okay reports Hacks/glitches and other stuff to Global admins)

The server will probley become alive but im not sure yet i want to sort a amin team out before i buy the server.

Server name - Wake + City 24/7 - SaS Clan Server
AutoTeam - Yes
Randomise teams on next round - yes
Friendly fire - yes
Amount of Punsh to Kick - 2 (We wont allow tk'ers)
Amount of Punsh to Ban - 5 (Any eviance of Force tk'ing will result in Unban and ban for force tk'er

Thats it really im new to bf2 servers so if you have anything i sould add please tell me!

One thing:

DO NOT buy a server until 1.4 patch comes out. It's an excellent way to waste money since it will crash 10 times a day and you will never get any players.

I too would wait for the 1.4 release before you decide on ordering up a server. Save yourself the trouble!

Use BF2CC for your administration needs. Unlike CS, you don't need to recall strings for ban/kick/slay commands for BF2. There is a drop down menu which has all the ROE criteria there to implement a kick and or ban. Rather nice actually.

I'm with these guys. Wait till 1.4 if possible, and hopefully with the new 2142 coming out this Fall, reduced rates will come. *wishful thinking I know*

Lower the amount of punishes for kicking because people ALWAYS punish for accidents
