Actually PW, real pilots DO play "Top Gun" in the air, even if its a waste of time and points.

That's an odd estimation considering you've never played again me. But I've never claimed to be the best dogfighter but rather the best overall pilot. I'm not distracted by the lure of easy A2A missile kills and I spent most of my time doing what my team needs me to do the most - and that is destroying the enemy helicopters, armor and (grounded) aircraft.

No. They don't. It's not a hard choice really. Kill 5-15 enemies in various vehicles including helicopters, tanks and APCs or spend that same amount of valuable round time playing "Who gets first lock!" with some other useless pilot that is doing nothing for his team. My real-world effectiveness as a pilot is legendary and that's partly because I don't waste my time playing air twister (if I can help it). I'll shoot the pilot down once if they're a threat or effectively attacking my team and camp them for the rest of the round. Simple.

Why, who make this kind of video, don't record and show to the world a round? a whole round? with the crashes, with something normal and not a collection?

Everyone could make a video like this in 2-3 years of game ..
Maybe on second before he was making a magic number for you ppl and after he crashed with the aircraft on a bridge because he was changing che camera to show to the world how much he's cool ..

I'm fed up with this kind of video-collection.

there are some ppl who watches these kinda video, and learn from it, takes from it, and becomes better . some ppl watches these videos like they watch stupid tv shows, they dont think about wat they just watched. u know alot of us would kill for good players to show us how they do stuff ingame, but lots of them would only show u with battlerecorder wat they can do but they will not show u how they do it. but this guy right here, shows u how he does it, u better be thanking him instead of saying how bad and wrong he is.

OK, I did not read through all the posts...

The video was very educating, but my one gripe which made me really think less of the video.

There was a cut scene where Cali was in the F-35, he shot down a helo and he changed angles. When he changed angles, you could see that he was smoking and being chased by two chinese planes. Now, I want to know, where the **** does the rest of that scene go? Really, I want to see him get out of situations, not really just show the last several seconds of finishing FTW.

Show me the hairy situations! The 45 seconds of getting your a** handed to you and your skill on getting out of it. Don't show me 21 minutes of just leading the target and getting a the win.

But youre not being a top gun then? If youre purely ATS, then by all means go ahead, doesnt mean that this is the only way to play. Dogfighting in post-1.2 is pure garbage, agree on that, but that doesnt mean you cant go and do some nice plane to plane action. And "doing for the team" is an overrated figure of speech in BF2. Youre doing it for yourself, not for the team. Killing infantry in an uncap has nothing to do with teamwork.

You mean, to be YOU? The guy was critisized with no base by people who are just too full of themselves. He just got the proof to shut them up.

I "collect" *youre a hacker* screenshots myself.

he swiches between 2 camera views only, thats impossible unleas u tweak some crap but if u twak and become the best thats not being th ebest imo, same with chopper guners, if ur on top but u use the macro ur not considered good
hehe you should check your config a little better before you do such statement. if you check it ingame you can see that you can choose buttons for all camera views. Ive just simply chosed 1 button for cockpit and 1 for flyby view so i can change it with the same finger. no macro no tweaking.

I can see what i could come up with, i will even start recording clanwars.
Atm im not in the mode for recording though, just want to play ,) have to buy a new joystick thanks to logitechs crappy quality.

Then i will recording while being hunted, it will be a short movie though

Thanks Komet, hehe but thats me :P ill see you online sometime :)

Short, long, whatever, just include lots and lots of "Cali being chased" clips.

Preferably while being in the F35B!

Exactly what I was trying to say. People loose creditiblity when I just see 10sec scene after 10sec scene of killing and not being killed. I want to see the hairy situations and the skill to get out of a dogfight when you barely make it back to the carrier.

so, my rating 4/10 just because it was not a balanced video and rather smug.

I liked it. Anyone with an 18 to 1 ratio in a jet has to be doing something right. I haven't tried the flyby camera yet. May have to bind a key for that to see if it helps. Nice job man.

Buddy, now THAT is the attitude a team pilot should have. My God I don't think I could have worded it any better.

Bravo, I would love to have you on my team covering my ***. Good on ya'...don't bother listening to any bashers on here, you know you're better than that.
